Who this is for

If you're a wound care nurse, NP, MD, or new practice owner trying to bring some order to the chaos of starting (or running) a small wound care practice — mobile rounds, SNF/ALF visits, or facility-based — this is for you.

It's not a one-size-fits-all CRM with everything stripped down to be useful nowhere. It's a battle-tested operating system, built over 18 months for a real wound care practice. You can use as much or as little of it as you want, and you can edit every inch of it.

The story (in one paragraph)

A wound care practice asked me — Damon — for help getting organized. I spent a year and a half building them this Notion OS, and we ran their practice on it. That experience taught me what mobile wound clinicians actually need from software, and it eventually became Medipyxis (the EHR + operations platform). We figured the Notion build deserved a second life as a gift to the community. So — here it is. Free. Forever. With our thanks.

What this template is NOT

Honest list, so you know what you're getting:

• ❌ Not an EHR. It does not generate claims, does not connect to clearinghouses, does not satisfy Medicare's documentation requirements for you.
• ❌ Not HIPAA-compliant on its own. Notion has a BAA available on enterprise plans — but you're responsible for configuring it correctly. If you put real PHI here, that's on you.
• ❌ Not infinite-scale. This will start to creak past ~250 active patients or a team of more than ~6. That's a real milestone — when you outgrow it, we built Medipyxis for exactly that moment.
• ❌ Not a substitute for clinical judgment. No template is.
