A day-by-day playbook to make this template yours. None of these days take more than ~30 minutes.

Day 1 — Make it yours

  1. Rename the top-level page from “Wound Care Practice OS” to your practice name (e.g., “Cedar Springs Wound Care”).
  2. Replace the sample announcements in 🏠 Practice Command Center with your own welcome message to your team.
  3. Update Team Directory: add yourself, and any team members. Notion’s native sharing handles permissions — invite people in via the Share button.

Day 2 — Patients

  1. Open 👥 Patients → Patients List.
  2. Delete the 10 sample patients (or keep them as reference and just hide via filter).
  3. Add your first 3-5 real patients. Use the columns that matter to you; ignore the rest.
  4. Optional: open the Patient Intake Form and bookmark/share its public link with your team.

Day 3 — Referrals

  1. Open 📋 Referrals & Intake → Referral Tracker.
  2. Delete the sample referrals.
  3. Log your last 5 inbound referrals (any source — call, fax, portal).
  4. Add the practices that referred to you in Referring Practices. (Cedar Heights, Riverside, etc. are samples — replace with your real referrers.)

Day 4 — Supplies & Grafts

  1. Open 💊 Supplies & Grafts → Graft Inventory.
  2. Update with the actual skin substitutes you stock (or remove the inventory tracker entirely if you don’t keep stock on hand).
  3. If you use IVRs (Insurance Verification Requests — the prior-auth process for skin substitutes), check out the IVR Requests sample workflow — replace samples with your real in-flight IVRs. If you don't use IVRs yet, skip this for now.

Day 5 — Routes & Schedule
